Ironstrike
I have been wanting to say this for a while but i really thought someone else would pick up on this. Do Not apply for admin if the server has been up for only a few days or hours. in my opinion it doesn't matter if you are admin who wants another admin role on another server. You shouldn't be applying for admin unless you have a reasonable amount of hours. i see why for some new servers 25 might be a bit much but people cant be applying with small numbers like 2, 4 or 8. It is becoming almost a race now to whoever can get a number like 4 hours and then apply for admin because they know there is no competition for the role because it is so new. Im interested about others opinion in this topic but i think this is just getting out of hand. There have be an excess amount of applications recently and @Ironstrike has basically summed up the large reason for this.
Omni
There needs to be a set amount of hours played on a server before applying for an admin/mod position imo
skyprah
So basically I see there being two options. We decline all applications that do not have the correct requirements as stated in the requirements. At the moment this applies for all servers We amend the requirements and adjust them to suit each server individually. This can help by lowering forum posts needed for servers that require admins but are not receiving enough applications. Also I think it needs to be addressed regarding how many servers you can apply for at a time in separate applications. http://badges.steamprofile.com/profile/default/steam/76561197975262643.png http://steamsignature.com/group/default/KillzoneGamingAU.png

Or another solution is, we close a certain application for a time period (for example Jailbreak), lower the requirements and then once we need more admins for a server, we open them up. the wage gap doesn't
I disagree with Iron. When a new server comes up, it shouldn't be up to ThrasheR or Skyprah to jump on the server everytime somebody is micspamming, admins are going to be needed especially within the early stages while the server is more than likely still experiencing some development. I understand there are many people who can get on the server (senior admins/owners) and solve the problem but I'm almost certain they'd be getting enough messages from other servers as it is. the wage gap doesn't and GimmeYoFries 2 like my shit pussies
