Ban Reason: doxxing

Why should I be unbanned / unmuted: i made my name my address and my profile picture my id to prove I lived there but I was still banned for doxxing, nobody had an issue with it even after asking the admin several times if it was fine I wasnt given a clear response so I continued, after making a discord ticket I was informed that it was against the rules to self dox which I was unaware of, not warned once by any staff members.

i only ever come on the server to surf and talk to others never intentionally break the rules nor would I ever release the personal information of any other user, was simply trying to have a laugh and would love to be able to play on the server again.

I'd also like to add that I was on until 5am with no issues from any other player and only found out I was banned at 8pm the next day.

Doxxing yourself, others, or even fake information, is a serious issue. You don't know who is on server with you, providing any sort of private information, even if fake (and in this case it wasn't) can lead to some extremely dangerous or unfortunate outcomes. We take this issue seriously, and this normally results in a permanent ban on your account. In this case, you were not doing this maliciously, so I will reduce the punishment to a two week ban.

I want to stress how serious this is. Do not provide your own personal information on the internet. Seriously, you could get hurt. I have known people who have been harassed, or worse from this sort of behaviour.

If you repeat this action, or encourage anyone else to do anything similar, you will be permanently banned and we will not accept any appeal. Your ban will end 22.04.2023 23:51.
