I am a 25 year old student from Western Australia. I have been surfing on KZG for around a year now, and consistently engaged with the community. I love skill surf and have consistently strived to not only improve my own ability, but also assist in improving the ability of others by giving advice, teaching people commands and showing new players routes to improve their times. Qualities I can bring to Killzone Gaming: Throughout my time in KZG, I have enjoyed positive communication and made great friends through voice chat, but find this regularly hindered by people who spam mic with loud noises and consistently display abusive comms throughout VC and chat. I would like to be a part of minimizing this to create a more open and positive community for all who take part. I have experience in moderation through being the owner of the Virtual Trashcan server, a discord that branched from meeting KZG members and contains over 150 members, including many members of KZG and their staff. In managing this discord I have learned conflict resolution strategies, how to diffuse hostile environments and event planning to create awards and competitions to promote community engagement. I am also good friends with experienced map makers outside of KZG and port maps myself, and can submit map additions from growing catalogues of new and ported maps to promote growth and variety in the KZG server. Contributions I have made towards Killzone Gaming: In addition to creating a space for KZG members within my own server, I have used !calladmin on CS:GO on multiple occasions in regard to both abusive comms and server issues. I also have created a ticket and communicated with various KZG staff in regard to a particular member during CS:GO that was threatening people and doxxing staff. This led to this member being banned from servers.
