away from CS - horror games

Any recommendations? I played Dying light and finished it all together with the DLC. amazing graphics and a good thrill for a late night escape from the real world, also good combat and action, whats better than parkour zombie slaying?

I need to find something similar, open world/horror/adventure. 

I heard outlast and until dawn are good enough. please give me more names if you do know

its too similar to dying light, but dying light was better.. why whats wrong with until dawn?

Until dawn is kind of just like a horror movie imo. It has a twisted plot with jump scares and movie sequences and is supposed to be acted out like a movie. It's good if your willing to play it straight, not taking long breaks etc. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Also, have you tried the Last of us or Uncharted? they are some of the best games. Just turns onto personal preference. I enjoyed dying light but didn't buy the DLC.

last of us is good because it sticks with the whole horror zombie thing that @BuLLee was talking about. But i would have to agree that uncharted 4 is one of the best games ever.

the DLC is better than the original, and the map is just as big and takes as much time as both haran and that other map. I highly recommend the DLC, the open world looks bigger but its just as big as the two areas.

Never played the last of us purely because it seems like the sort of game I need to immerse my self into more than other games which is great, but I got work, a fiance and bills to pay. if you tell me its manageable to play without spending too much time then I will give it a go
