Hello reader, I'm Pasta and I'm pleased you're here. I joined the forums to extend my views in the KZG community, whether it would be for shits and giggles or just to know others. Here is an anecdote where it gives you what I really am. Last year (2016) I went on a school excursion to the Parliament House to continue my studies for my history class, only I found myself arrested when they found a butterfly knife in my bag as it went through the metal detector. It seemed casual enough when I heard the sentence "take out your butterfly knife", after a few seconds I knew I was fucked. That soon got passed towards customs, later to the teacher and to this day the principle's drawer. Surprising enough, I didn't get any punishment (besides losing my butterfly knife). What frustrates me the most is how she held it (it was a trainer, but I sharpened it). She poked her hand towards her hand and said "this is the bluntest knife I have seen". I sat there thinking if she found out if that really was a trainer or not, and I still am... Well lesson learnt, check your bags and don't bring butterfly knifes to the Parliament House. Instead bring throwing knives. :D

hell yeah, I live in Canberra (guessing you just came for the excursion but correct me if I am wrong)

I'll carry on the parliament stories if I may, not good as yours but fuck it

 

 

I'm into my photography and my school was holding a competition looking for photos to hang up around the campus that capture Canberra and the school spirit. I instantly thought of a combo wombo of a shot outside of Parliament House with school ties tied up to some poles outside, here's the photo, it looks pretty shit because I started photography a few weeks before I did this, https://imgur.com/a/8ix5L going into my 3rd year of photography in 2018. My mum offered to come along for the ride so we went off to Turnbull's crib. Turns out to get parliament house in the shot with ties, the ties needed to be pretty damn high up these big ol poles. Determined to complete the mission, my mum got on her hands and knees underneath these poles for me to push the ties up further, out front of parliament house with about 100 people. It wasn't long before police rocked up, we got accused of vandalism/terrorism, coz ya know, ties = terrorists. We explained our situation and they fucked off after making sure we were "gonna take em down once we are done". I took my shots and then I started to take down the ties. Wave 2 of the policemen arrive, with one of them being particularly not happy with me grinding on his dancer poles. I explain the situation again, mentioning the name of my school. "Those aren't ___ ties" he replies "My son went to ___, those ain't them." "They are, and have been for at least 8 years." he comes back with, "ah ok, my son is 32." I wanted to hit him but I just left instead, before wave 3 arrives. 

If you are wondering, I didn't win the comp, I think because that story spread around the whole school and I don't think school spirit is being questioned by cops for a photo.
