Desciption of Myself: My Names Angus, I'm 14 years old and I absolutely love Csgo, I only have 1000 hours but in 1 year. I also like a bit of sport, I play cricket, I play this at a senior level. I am balanced between Intravert and extravert. I love socialising and talking to different people and creating relationships with new people.

Qualities I bring to Killzone Gaming  I feel like I could bring a lot of qualities to kzg Because I play cricket at a senior level I know how the Handle my emotions and act very mature. I feel like I could create different relationships with people on kzg and make there experience on kzg a better place

Why I Deserve to be Part of Killzine Gaming:  I feel like I would offer diversity to the KZG team, As I am younger I would help the younger sort of people, especially people with higher pitched voices. I think about this due to them being sometimes bullied. I can also make connections with people and this would be the thing with different staff. I would also add a different opinion to the staff team, as a younger voice can be helpful in decision making.

You seem to wanna play more now rather than actually being staff. From what you said, Just saying this seems a little poorly made. Not a aim staff or player but just going off what i see here. Also like Yassuo said about the cricket thing i dont think that was really a good idea. Anyways Good Luck to you

I personally recommend you to re-write this with the right information and also edit what Yassuo and Drk said. The "Handle my emotions and act very mature" doesn't make sense since you have been muted for immature reasons. 

And just to be better, go make sure you apologize for those mutes and make up for it.

I'll quote this one because really it's the post that started all this in my opinion.

Okay, firstly you're taking what he said out of context, providing real world examples that back up why he would have the qualities he said he has is not wrong. Purposely cutting off half his sentence really downplays what's actually being said there. Maybe I see english different to you but, it's pretty bloody obvious that he wrote that to support what he said next which was, because of blah, he's learnt to control his emotions and be mature. Furthermore his justification is sound, playing sport at a senior level requires maturity and emotional control , or else you'd be thrown off the field right? Even if senior sport ain't all that advanced and developed, is it really so hard to believe he thought that it did teach him to be mature and control his emotions? Lastly, how in the hell is that bragging, it's text, you can read it in infinitely different tones, your basically obvious assumption was that it had such a arrogant negative tone and I'd like to know why you're assuming the worst straight off, it's so clearly biased!  What you should have done is take into consideration it's a 14 y/o kid that's typing that , of course his English skills are gonna be pretty shitty, so don't assume it's gonna read well and everything means exactly what they say, where even then it's not even remotely braggy if you continue reading the damn line. All these things, I thought you were mature enough to realise them, but no, you've basically set the kid up and that's really bloody unfair as far as I can see.

Now, cause of those mutes etc, you've really screwed yourself over Angus. If you wish to improve your impression among the staff, I'd suggest from now on you do your best to follow the rules and ask yourself why those rules are there, maybe then it would be easier to follow them. I dunno if I'm reading the playtime right but I'm assuming that reads off as 13 days playtime or close to it. At such a young age , that playtime rivals even some of the staffs I think , which shows to me anyway that you really do enjoy playing on our servers. Really the main thing that makes a good staff member before anything else is, they truly enjoy playing on the server's , being staff then becomes less of a job and more of a privilege and somewhat enjoyable at  times. So, I'd reccomend reapplying at a later date, making sure next time you write a larger application that is more detailed, think of word choice and grammar/punctuation and take a look at for example spinners application and learn what makes a good application.  In the mean time, you should not break any rules, learn them all, improve your relations with current staff members if an opportunity arises and lastly, become a part of the community, be the guy people respect and have a good time with, I'm sure you can do it

Did it not occur to you that I was hinting at him to put more effort into further explaining how this would help and to provide further reasoning as to how this can be implemented into/as a positive skill set/quality? The question was "What qualities do you bring to KZG?" .  "This sounds more like a brag" is my way of saying "put more god damn effort into providing more examples of how this can be implemented into a KZG quality." If he put more effort in and said something along the lines of "As mentioned above, i currently play in a senior cricket team. Playing alongside my teammates has taught me a lot about teamwork, working alongside others, courage, support of others and most importantly has aided my efforts in become a more mature lad."  

 

If i was giving him shit i would have been straight to the point instead of giving him a subtle hint to expand on the application.

@SorrowThe rest was cut because it was irrelevant to my point.  It was me hinting at him to expand upon what he was saying as it was very half arsed. Maturity is something anyone who applies for a staff position should already have. Hence why he needs to say more so he stands out from all the other applications.

Okay, firstly your intended subtlety is so unclear, indicated by "this has nothing to do with the question" and secondly your choice to cut off half his quote shows how wrong that statement is. You've gone in a completely wrong direction if your intention was to hint towards more effort needed. What you said specifically, can be interpreted nine times out of ten as dismissing his answer, no one's gonna randomly twist the meaning of the words you said to arise at the conclusion that you were trying to "give him a subtle hint". The reason why this is such an issue is because 60% of the thread mentions what you said, which is really not giving this kid a fair go.

Okay so I have made that mistake of writing the wrong hours.
Here it is now:
Monday 0 hours Tuesday 0 hours Wednesday 4-5pm 1 hour Thursday 4-9pm 2 hours Friday 4-12pm 4 hours Saturday All Day 4 hours Sunday All day 4 hours.
These hours are very rough as my schedule changes 
During summer these hours are less but during winter they are a lot higher.
Now I'm not on aim at a consistent time at the moment, I don't have a set playtime on the servers so there for I decided to write the rough hours next to the times i'm on.
The times e.g)  4-5pm. That's the time i'm on csgo. e.g) 1 hours. That's the amount of time i'll be on aim

Now as I can tell there is mixed opinions on the post about me being muted in the past, which of course is true.
That was a very immature act spamming and being racist. 
I do apologize, as that is quite recent.
It was mistake and I regret it
I'd also like to apologize for wrong steam id, I had trouble getting it Sorry.

"this sounds like a brag". Usually when someone (such as myself) has "interpreted" something wrong or in a negative matter, the person who made the statement would further explain? It may not have been the most obvious hint but it's common sense to correct the fix or reiterate with more detail to the person. IMO it was pretty clear that he should reiterate and explain with a little more depth either way. 

If i wasn't giving the applicant a fair go i would have immediately went to "THIS APP HAS NO EFFORT blah de dah" and -rep'd straight away. 

Instead i asked him which server he plays on so i could talk to him next time i see him on and make sure he understood he needed to put more effort into the application. 

 

Not going to continue on this as its clearly going to turn into a debate section instead of being used for comments/constructive criticism for m1st's app.

Stop arguing about this on someones application. Please just drop it, and if you want to continue it, do it in DM's or something.

As of now i believe i'll be true about this. Personally i believe you to be a bit young, but you could also be young and mature. Your hours would most definitely need improving and you could possibly branch out to other servers on the AIM server group. With you also collecting mutes/gags tarnishes your reputation quite a bit.
