Skoll Posted April 25, 2020 Share Posted April 25, 2020 Hi all, I recently realised I haven't actually made an introduction post at all. I just reached Ace on Skill surf / reported a bug / just donated for VIP - and I've been around for a while so I figured it's probably time to use the forums properly. I started playing CS back in highschool around 2005 / 2006 and found myself in a war surf clan with a home turf of the classic map leet_xl_beta_7z, ended up as a mod on a few servers for a while after my clan came to an inglorious end, and eventually stopped for a long time when I went to uni. I got CS:GO around when it came out, but never really played it as I was a bit of a source fanatic but eventually came around to it and started playing on and off with a group of mates, eventually returning to surf. Just as I was starting to be on surf most days, I started a new job last September as a Technical Writer so I suddenly had to move cities and I didn't take my desktop with me (just after I made a decent admin application too - just my luck). So I've been away for a while but I got a nice laptop not too long ago, and have started to play more surf again- after I got bored with the shiny new games that came out in recent times (DOOM Eternal, Mount & Blade II, Borderlands 3, etc.) as I usually do. I do play TTT sometimes as well but I basically exit solely on the surf servers. I'm always happy to help out if you're a newer surf player, or bask in the buttery smoothness of those better than me- and if you're not a rood dood I'm sure we'll get along.
