Ban Reason: Dox

Why should I be unbanned / unmuted: I was in an argument on discord and I bought up the users name that I was arguing with, which I found out prior by seeing someone else call him by that name in game. This was of course a silly idea, but I referred to the discord rules before doing so and I couldn't find anything on that sort of thing so I went through with it (it probably is common knowledge to not use someone's real name online) but I have now gone over the rules on the website and found that it is indeed against the rules.

The reason I believe my ban should be lifted, is that if I knew I wasn't aloud to do that I wouldn't have done it. Now just because I didn't know it was against the rules doesn't make it okay to do what I did, but I do think never being able to touch the awp server ever again in my life for mentioning his name seems a bit fucked, so I have thought of this. Maybe keep me permantley muted on all KZG platforms (Discord/Forums/Servers) but allow me to play the server.

If I wasn't sorry for what I did and if I didn't feel stupid for doing what I did, I wouldn't be making this appeal, but here I am. I'm not exactly apologizing to the person this happened with because they were a total dick and bullied me for my voice, but I am apologizing to KZG for breaching TOS/rules, and can promise to never break a rule again.

All I need is one more chance to show that I'm not here to break rules like that and that it was a mistake

As the person doxxed, no one has ever said my name prior, I havent ever said my name publicly on my account/in game on discord. Hes caused several issues before and this is a testament to his inabilities. Please do not unabn someone that agreed to KZG rules then proceeded to very clearly dox me with both my first and last name. He tried to use this information against me and failed.

His inability to sympathise with someone after doxxing them in a discord server with a few hundred people is incredible, having excuses for not apologising and believing he was in the right is literally insane. If he got my info so easily he will definitely do this again to someone else and poses a threat to any player talking on a kzg server.

Doxing is against both our rules and Discord's Community Guidelines that all users must agree to before signing up to Discord, as well as Killzone Gaming. Stating that you were unaware of the rule is not a reasonable excuse. If they were causing an issue, you contact a staff member, not retaliate and escalate it further. 

The ban will remain. However, as per the norm, you can make another appeal in 3 months time in which the case will be reviewed again, and we will decide whether to change it to a silence or leave it as a ban.
