We'll be updating the Test Server tonight at 8:30pm PT. Downtime should last approximately 2 hours. Game updates: Rolled back the recoil penalty on the AR that was present on the last build. Players can now enter vehicles that are moving slowly. Throwables such as grenades now break windows so that they can be thrown through them. Training and Skirmish modes have been removed. Future Skirmishes will be rolled out through the Events system. The assets for the Payload Crate and Skull Store additions are in this build. We’ll be bringing the servers down tomorrow (11/7) at 8am PT for maintenance, the downtime will be approximately 4 hours. This maintenance will not include the content we recently pushed to Test last Friday. That content needs more time for feedback and adjustments tweaks before we push it Live. There are less than two weeks left before the H1Z1 Invitational at TwitchCon[www.h1z1.com], and this update is all about correcting a few bugs and issues before the big tournament begins. As a reminder, we are not planning to make any major changes to the core gameplay between now and TwitchCon, as players have been training and prepping on the current build and we don't want to disrupt that. Thank you all for helping us test the revamped Events system with the Swagnum Opus ruleset on EU and NA servers! There is still more work to be done on the system, so Swagnum Opus will be reverting to a Skirmish mode for the weekend. We want to make sure that everyone still has a chance at the rewards, so we are continuing to work on the Events system so we can open them up to the rest of the world next week. You'll see a small download on Steam today for a hotfix that includes the following: - Optimized the shotgun firing code which should improve performance during combat. We are still investigating this, and other performance improvements, as our top priority. - Slightly increased the Sniper Rifle transition into scoped mode, which makes the lens less intrusive. - Zip code submission window and code redemption windows no longer occasionally gray out in the UI. - Updated in-game references to the Hunting Rifle to the Sniper Rifle. You will see a small download today on Steam for the Live servers of H1Z1. This hotfix includes the following: Players will no longer be locked in crouch position when respawning in Combat Zone while crouching and in first-person. Changing your Reticle will no longer cause the in-game menu UI to get stuck on screen. Rapidly opening and closing the Inventory no longer causes the UI to lock up. Previously, only locked Crates could be traded, but starting now, all tradeable items from within those crates, along with tradeable special event and giveaway items, can be traded on the Steam Marketplace.
